Model compatibility

These lenses are made for the Ray-Ban R0502S Wayfarer Reverse. They are not standard flat Wayfarer lenses and should not be fitted into similar-looking frames. The listed lens curvature is Hyperbolic paraboloid 2-4, which is essential to the Reverse design.

The frame colour does not determine compatibility. What matters is the model reference and the correct size.

How to identify your model and size

Check the inside of the temple arm. You should find the model reference R0502S followed by the lens size. This replacement is available in size 50 and size 53. Size 50 corresponds to height 42 and diameter 54 mm; size 53 corresponds to height 46 and diameter 60 mm.

These lenses are made from polycarbonate and designed for sunglass use. The 83 brown option is polarized; if you want polarization, choose the lens option explicitly marked as polarized. Other available lens finishes include solid tints, gradient colour and mirror.

UV400 protection blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. With the Reverse concept, keeping the original geometry is particularly important: a flat generic lens would change the appearance and the intended fit.
