Original Ray-Ban 4222 Replacement Lenses

Original Ray-Ban RB4222 replacement lenses

If your Ray-Ban RB4222 frame still fits perfectly but the lenses are scratched, replacing the lenses is the smart way to bring them back to life without buying a new pair. These original Ray-Ban RB4222 replacement lenses are official lenses, with free shipping and the support of our optical workshop in Granada.

Model compatibility

These lenses are made for the Ray-Ban RB4222 model in size 50. We do not recommend fitting them into other round or similar-looking Ray-Ban frames, as small differences in lens diameter, bevel and curvature can affect the fit.

How to identify your model and size

Check the inside of the temple arm. You should find the model code RB4222 and the lens size 50. On many Ray-Ban frames the markings show the model, frame colour and size; for this product, the key information is RB4222 and 50.

Material, protection and lens finishes

These lenses are made from polycarbonate, a lightweight and resistant material that helps preserve the balance of the frame. They include UV400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB rays. As original Ray-Ban replacement lenses, they maintain the optical quality expected from the RB4222.

Why replace only the lenses

Replacing only the lenses can save you up to 60% compared with buying a complete new pair of sunglasses. You also keep the frame that already suits your face and avoid throwing away a perfectly usable pair. It is a practical, sustainable and cost-effective repair.

Frequently asked questions

Are these lenses suitable for any round Ray-Ban frame? No. These lenses are designed for the Ray-Ban RB4222 in size 50. Similar-looking frames may have a different groove, curve or diameter.

How do I know if my frame is size 50? Look inside the temple arm and check for RB4222 and the size 50. If you are unsure, send us photos before ordering and we will confirm compatibility.

Are they genuine Ray-Ban lenses? Yes. These are original Ray-Ban lenses supplied through the official EssilorLuxottica channel and include the Ray-Ban logo.

Can I install them at home? The RB4222 lenses are fitted by pressure, so careful handling is important. If you have no experience replacing lenses, we recommend visiting an optician.

Do they offer real sun protection? Yes. These sun lenses feature UV400 protection and block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Are they polarised? A lens option should only be considered polarised if it is clearly marked as such. The options listed here are 13 brown gradient and 8G grey gradient.
